THE University of Chichester has been named one of the top institutions for sports courses in the UK.
This is according to Which University, which surveyed more than 17,000 students.
For the past three years the university has invested millions of pounds its facilities, including a sport therapy rehabilitation unit, laboratories, and running track.
Sports Therapy under-graduate Adam Harrison said: “It was an easy decision for me to study at Chichester.
“The chance to participate in sports and other activities at the university enables you to really enjoy your time here as well as the studying.”
Dr Mike Lauder, head of Sport and Exercise Sciences at the university, said: “We are extremely pleased to have been recognised for the outstanding experience our students have for recreational, performance and academic sport.”
Chichester was named alongside other top sports institutions, including those with worldwide reputations such as Loughborough and Bath.
