It’s a busy day at the office for this little bantam chick. It is one of three being cared for at the office of Russell’s Garden Centre, Birdham.

Owner Lesley Phillips has been keeping chickens for 15 years and customers enjoy the sight of chickens running free around the centre.

The trio are being kept warm under a special lamp at night after their mother decided nine chicks were enough and started to peck the next three that hatched.

Mrs Phillips is looking to re-home the three hen bantams and one cockerel.
