Appeal for witnesses to Chichester attack

POLICE are appealing for two witnesses to come forward who might have seen a man being attacked in the car park behind The Nag’s Head pub, in Chichester.

Sussex Police has today (Tuesday, November 6) released details of the attack which happened in the car park, in St Pancras, at 8.45pm, on Monday, October 29.

The incident involved two men and one might have been lying on the floor. It is believed during the time the men were fighting, two other men came into the car park and asked what was going on.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of ABH and has been bailed until December 14.

A spokesman said: “We would appeal for these two men to come forward or anyone else who saw what happened and asked them to contact police on 101 quoting serial 1551.”
