Police are trying to trace the owners of two mountain bikes abandoned in a garden in Bognor Regis.
A 20-year old man and a 16-year old boy were arrested nearby on suspicion of theft after the bikes were found in the front garden of a house in Westingway just after midnight on Tuesday, April 2, along with a number of other items.
Both have been released on police bail until April 14 while enquiries continue.
The grey-framed mountain bikes both have TRAX written on the main tube of the frame and TR1 across the top tube of the frame.
Officers found them Also seized at the same time were a Pierre Cardin glasses case, black on the outside and red on the inside with a pair of sunglasses inside, as well as a gold-coloured tube of mini-sparklers and a single key with a yellow tag attached to it, which could be for a garage or shed or possibly a back door.
PC Tim Bradshaw said: “If you think any of the items belong to you, please call us via 101 quoting Serial 0008 of 2/4.”
