Police called as two men injured in street '˜disturbance'

Police were called to a disturbance in Southgate, Chichester which saw two men taken to hospital yesterday evening, police confirmed.

Two men, aged 55 and 24, sustained head injuries following a disturbance in the street and in an adjacent shop at around 8.30pm, according to police.

Police said both men were taken to St Richards Hospital in Chichester for treatment.

Enquiries continue to trace another man who left the scene, a police spokesperson added.
