Three Chichester burglaries are linked

POLICE have linked three Chichester burglaries which happened within walking distance of eachother on Saturday (April 6).

Homes in Stride Close, York Road and Pound Farm Road were broken into between midnight and 6am.

Suspects entered the back gardens and broke in at the rear of the properties before stealing electrical items, cash and bank cards.

In the first one in York Road, a Tag Heuer watch, iPod, digital camera, cash, Ipad and laptop were stolen.

At the Pound Farm Road burglary, a mobile phone, bank cards and cash were taken.

In the third break-in at Stride Close, a handbag and mobile phone were stolen.

Detective constable Gavin Percival said: “We are linking this burglaries given that they happened on the same night within a short distance of each other and were similar.

“Anyone with information should contact Sussex Police quoting serial 273 of 6/4.”
