A SIX-YEAR-OLD baker made her family proud by raising £135 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice with her cake-making skills.
Rosie Mitchell, who goes to East Wittering Community Primary School, was too young to take part in the hospice’s midnight walk in memory of her grandad Ian Anderson, who passed away on February 17.
Her dad Sean Mitchell said: “Rosie’s grandad was very well taken care of during his time in the hospice and we all wanted to do something to contribute to the cause.”
“She sold cakes at school to remember her grandad. We’re so proud of her, it’s a great achievement. She’s a very thoughtful girl.”
