A-level results: Havant Sixth Form pass rate success

Students from Havant Sixth Form College have once again achieved outstanding A-level results.

With an overall pass rate of 98.3 per cent and 48 per cent achieving the toughest A* to B grades, Havant Sixth Form College has pushed ahead of the national benchmark with their high-flying results.

In addition to achieving outstanding pass rates, the college has announced that around 500 A*/A grades​ were achieved.

“Pass rates are high again at 98.3 per cent but what is as important, in the current climate of high competition in the markets for jobs and university places, is the number of students who achieved A* to B grades at 49 per cent.​”

He continued: “These grades are the key to our students fulfilling their dreams.

“We expect over 80 per cent of our students to progress onto university with 20 per cent going on to the prestigious Russell Group universities​.

Suki Dhesi, deputy principal, expressed her delight with the students’ success and the exciting year at the college.
