Chichester College students recognised at awards night

CHICHESTER students continue to spring forward, receiving a number of awards recently.

There were four winners from Chichester College at the Further Education Sussex Spring Awards in March.

The annual awards ceremony was held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, in Brighton.

Former student James Budd won the City and Guilds Learner of the Year Award, which he said was ‘fantastic’.

Alex Toy, a former Peter Jones enterprise student, won the Pearson BTEC Learner of the Year Award.

Afterwards, he said: ““I had to work hard to get where I am. I didn’t expect to win this award out of all of the nominees.”

Theresa Earle received the Hospitality Student of the Year Runner-Up Award.
