PUPILS at St James’ Primary School in Emsworth had fun on two wheels last week thanks to one of their classmates.
Back in January Max Palmer, ten, saw an advert in Scoot Magazine for a company which carries out safety demonstrations.
The enthusiastic youngster used his initiative and then emailed the company to see if they could visit his school and do a demonstration for he and his friends.
Last Friday morning a team from the Pro Team at Madd Gear, a well-known scooter manufacturer, visited the school and thrilled around 20 children with a series of stunning jumps and backflips.
The company’s Terry Price gave lots of advice to the children and the day proved to be a big hit with everyone.
Max’s mother Debbie Palmer said: “As you can imagine the kids were massively excited about this.
“As a parent, I am very proud of my son for organising such a fabulous event for the kids at the school.”
