THE Easter bunny was greeted by these beautiful, beaming smiles from children from the Chichester area when he went along to a special Easter parde.

The Easter parade took place at Westgate leisure centre and included fun activities such as an Easter hunt and a sing-along with the Easter bunny himself.

The children came to the event with colourful hand-crafted Easter bonnets.

They were treated to a fun-filled day and all were more than happy to take home a chocolate egg.

Carolyn Knight, who organised the parade, said: “It was a brilliant way to spend the gorgeous, bright, sunny day.

“The children came with beautiful home-made Easter hats, which I’m sure the parents had a hand in!”

With the school holidays under way the event was a great way to keep the children amused in keeping with the Easter spirit.

Carolyn added: “The Easter hunt was great fun for the kids, with the Easter bunny delivering their eggs at the end of the search.

“It made for a magical day in the sunshine and was great fun for all involved.”

The day was held as an end-of-term celebration for the members of Little Centurions nursery, based at the Westgate leisure centre.
