TWO boys have gone to hospital with minor injuries after a car hit them outside a school (December 6).

A five-year-old and an eight year-old were hit by a car at around 8.50pm this morning, outside East Wittering Primary School in Stocks Lane.

An 89-year-old man was driving the car at about 10mph when the accident occurred, according to police.

A Sussex Police spokesman said the boys’ injuries were minor, but both were at St Richard’s Hospital as a precaution.

The investigation is ongoing.
