Emergency services called to Emsworth crash

EMERGENCY services were called to Emsworth this afternoon (December 3), after a car crashed into a lamppost.

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the incident in Barn Close at the junction with Havant Road just before 1.20pm.

The grey Skoda Fabia had crashed into the lamppost and the Highways Agency and Southern Electric were called to the scene to deal with damage in the street.

A woman was driving the car but it is not yet known how serious her injuries are.
