Emsworth Musseum will host a continuation of its ‘The Emsworth Improvement Scheme 1961 -1962’ exhibition on April 4.

The Museum will open the new season with a continuation of the exhibition on the improvement of Emsworth in 1961 when the Civic Trust led a drive to revitalise town centres in a Britain.

The exhibition will continue until April 19 and will contain images of the town centre ‘before and after’ the formation of modern Emsworth.

The Museum’s new oyster display is also now open, with on demand running of the iconic new film ‘Emsworth’s Oysters’ financed by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
