AN ENTERTAINER from Chichester has been chosen as one of the eight finalists for the forthcoming Miss Sussex competition.
If Caroline West wins the regional qualifier she will go on to represent the county at Miss England.
Caroline, 24, will have to wow the panel of expert judges over three rounds at the event next Wednesday in Brighton.
She said: “I am thrilled to be chosen to compete in the Miss Sussex final. It is a brilliant opportunity to meet new people, experience something completely different and build on my self-confidence.”
The winner of Miss Sussex will go on to represent her county in the grand final of Miss England in Leicester in June alongside 60 other girls, and the national winner will then compete in Miss World later this year.
Miss England 2008 and manager of Front Models Laura Coleman said: “The standard of girls taking part in Miss Sussex this year is very high. The judges are going to have a really difficult job deciding on the winner this year.
“We are looking for a well-rounded individual who stands out from the crowd and possesses a natural beauty and flair. They must also be personable and make a great ambassador for their county and potentially their country.”
