PLANS to build up to 400 new homes in Westhampnett will go on public display next week.
An exhibition is being held on Tuesday (November 26) between 4pm and 8pm at the Chichester Park Hotel by Commercial Estates Group (CEG), which is putting together the housing bid.
It aims to get feedback on proposals for between 350 and 400 new homes on land between Madgwick Lane and Stane Street.
Jon Allen, from CEG, said: “The proposals will be designed to integrate with the local area, retaining and providing new landscaping, green space and play areas.
“It will deliver much-needed family housing in the local area and the proposal also includes contributions towards improved community facilities, highways, education and healthcare provision, as required to accommodate the development.
“We hope local residents will be able to attend the event to discuss the proposals and provide their views on the emerging masterplan.”
The area has been identified by Chichester District Council as an area for new housing.
