Fire crews called to two crashes in Emsworth

FIRE crews from Hampshire and West Sussex were called to two separate crashes near Emsworth yesterday (December 3).

Crews from Chichester, Havant and Emsworth were called to a crash at Stein Road, Southbourne at 11.15am yesterday. The incident involved two vehicles, one of which had collided with a garage.

Firefighters used rescue equipment to release one woman who was trapped in her vehicle. She was later taken to hospital.

A second woman was treated by paramedics on the scene.

The incident was cleared by 12.15pm.

Emergency services were then called out after a car rolled over on the A27 eastbound, from Havant to Chichester.

No-one was trapped in the vehicle and the driver was treated by ambulance crews on the scene.

Fire crews from Havant had cleared the scene by 4.20pm.
