FIREARMS Police officers were called out in the early hours of Sunday morning in relation to a kidnapping of a Chichester man who suffered serious injuries.
The incident, which was initially described as being a serious assault, happened between 2am and 230am on Sunday morning in Osborne Crescent.
After his ordeal, the 27 year-old victim was discovered in Chichester at around 2pm suffering from cracked ribs and bruising. He was later taken to hospital for treatment.
Two arrests have been made including a 20 year-old man and a 17 year-old girl from Chichester, but officer are keen to speak to a 24 year-old man who is known to the other suspects.
Forensic teams attended the scene and cordened off a property and several vehicles in Osborne Crescent, while firearms officers searched the St Pancras area at around 2pm, following the discovery of the victim.
