A FISHBOURNE schoolgirl has written a letter to Prince William and Kate Middleton thanking them for choosing her seventh birthday on which to get married.

And thanks to the royal wedding, Cyrease Voller, six, will also enjoy a day off and decided to write to the couple wishing them a happy wedding day.

Cyrease, a pupil at Fishbourne Primary School, was also lucky enough to receive a letter from St James’ Palace in reply, thanking her for her support and also sending warm wishes for her birthday celebrations.

Claudia Holloway, from St James’ Palace said: “His Royal Highness and Miss Middleton have been overwhelmed by the incredibly kind messages they have received in connection with their forthcoming wedding, and were immensely touched that you should take the trouble to write as you did.

“Your words were greatly appreciated and Prince William and Miss Middleton have asked me to send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.”

Cyrease’s father, Paul Voller, said it would be a busy week in their house: “We thought she might get something back, but you never know with these sorts of things and it seems like they have been inundated with well-wishers.”
