The chairman made sure the official business, which included approval and signing of the 2015 annual meeting minutes, the chairman’s report and finances, was dealt with efficiently, with some humour.

The Gala gifted funds to five local organisations this year - North Mundham Village Hall, St Stephen’s Church, Sunbeams Preschool, TS Sturdy and North Mundham Playing Field.

These gifts were gratefully received by representatives of each of the organisations. The money will be used for specific purposes, as identified by the organisations.

The evening’s events were concluded with drinks and nibbles, a raffle and an opportunity to chat.
