STAFF at a Boots store in Chichester pulled together to raise money for two different charities with their gala evening.
The Boots gala evening, which sold around 80 tickets, featured a fashion show, with a selection of dresses being provided by Mousetrap, and hairstyling being done by the capable hands of Creations Hairdressing. Along with the fashion show, there were some raffle prizes, and food, including cakes donated by Patisserie Valerie.
The money raised through the Boots gala evening was for both Macmillan Cancer Support charity and Children in Need.
Alicia Gooderson, store manager at Boots, said: “I feel really inspired and proud of my staff. They displayed a great deal of drive and enthusiasm to make the gala evening happen.
“The staff are also really passionate about supporting these charities and actively go to hospital and support those with illnesses.
“I also think that the community we have here in Chichester is fantastic. There is a real sense of community here and everyone really pulled together to support these events.”
The store in Chichester has raised over £3,000 for charity.
