Gardeners’ Question Time at West Dean

Fans of BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time are in for a treat as the popular panel show is set to record at West Dean Gardens near Chichester for the first time.

Eric Robson and his panel of horticultural experts will answer audience questions in an hour long recording to be held in the Auditorium, West Dean Gardens on Monday, September 23.

The studio audience will be served refreshments from 5:30pm, before the recording begins at 6.30pm.

The show will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on Friday, October 4, at 3pm and repeated on Sunday, October 6 at 2pm.

Tickets, which are £2.50 go on sale from 9am on Friday, September 13.

The Friday broadcast will kick off a weekend of gardening activity at West Dean as thousands of visitors descend on the Gardens for its new harvest themed event, Grow! Cook! Eat! held on October 5-6.

More gardening experts, including West Dean’s own Jim Buckland and Sarah Wain, will be on hand to give practical tips and advice, in a series of walks and talks over the weekend.
