DAY one of Goodwood Revival 2013 has kicked off with a host of practice runs on the track, an aerial display and some glamorous outfits.
Friday is traditionally a warm-up for the weekend on the track with practice runs for the Goodwood Trophy, Madgwick Cup, Chichester Cup and a host of others all taking place today.
Off the track, an overcast start and some heavy showers failed to deter visitors who have flocked to the event in period costumes.
And, in the air, the crowds were treated to displays by vintage aircraft. First to arrive was a Supermarine Spitfire and a Mustang P-51D which performed a close aerial display before they were joined by other aircraft to fly over the track.
