BOXGROVE village brought out the bunting to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Jubilee celebrations were marked on Monday, June 4, in the village hall with a big lunch.
The idea for the celebration was based on the big lunch effort recognised by the Eden project, which encourages communities to come together and celebrate.
Those who attended enjoyed a lunch provided by joint funding from Boxgrove Parish and Chichester District council.
Barry Jackson, chairman of the parish council said: “It is lovely to celebrate and great to have a jubilee event, the Queen is an amazing lady there is no doubt about that. It is good getting people together to celebrate.”
The Jubilee was also marked with a champagne toast by all who attended.
