Latest population figures incorporated into Chichester local plan

LATEST available data on future housing needs has been incorporated into Chichester District Council’s local plan.

The plan initially listed the objectively-assessed housing need for the district as between 530 and 650 homes a year. This is now 560 to 575.

The decision has not altered the plan’s strategy, which aims to persuade an inspector that 410 homes per year is a sensible housing target for the district.
