Life saving lesson in Emsworth

A FREE life-saving training session is on offer for all Emsworth residents.

‘My Heart Emsworth’ is a community life-saving initiative led by Emsworth dental practice enVisage.

The practice has obtained a defibrillator for use by anyone in the area, to be used in the event of cardiac arrest.

Practice owner Richard Guyver said: “My Heart Emsworth is another initiative where we can use our knowledge and expertise to help not just our own patients, but the entire community.

“I didn’t feel it was right having this amazing piece of technology sitting in one of our cupboards, so I decided to offer it for public use. This means our investment could help save your life, or the life of a loved one.”

The AED (automatic external defibrillator) allows a user to easily and safely help someone who has had a heart attack, without having been trained.

Kept inside the lobby of the practice at 55 High Street, it is available for anyone in Emsworth to use.

A free training session will be held on Thursday, May 29, from 7pm at the Brookfield Hotel, Havant Road.

Booking is not required.
