Arun and Downland Society Gundog trials

A mother and daughter combination of Labradors, owned and handled by Hilly Hoar from Petworth, won the Arun and Downland Gundog Society's brace working test, held near Cocking.

There were 14 entries from across the south of England for the test, which involves each competitor working two dogs simultaneously for a series of retrieves, both seen and unseen.

Hilly Hoar won by a narrow margin over Reuben Corbett, from Worthing, and his pair of Labradors. Ron Walford from High Wycombe was third with his cocker spaniels.
