DEVELOPERS have submitted a hybrid planning application for a new supermarket, hotel and 159 homes in Selsey.

Landlink Estates and Marsh and Baxter have submitted plans to Chichester District Council for an Asda supermarket for the land at Manor Road.

A full application for the supermarket, a petrol station, two restaurants and parking has been submitted alongside an outline application for 159 dwellings and a hotel, with open space.

The application is available to view here.

A recent public exhibition drew mixed views from residents on the plan.

The site is adjacent to a plot for which Landlink Estates has already been granted planning permission for 50 homes.
