A WOMAN from Selsey involved in a two-car collision in Beach Road, Selsey has been charged with drink driving.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: “Emergency services were called to a two car collision in Beach Road, Selsey, just before 4pm on Saturday (30 August).
“A Ford Mondeo and a Vauxhall Astra had collided head on and the Mondeo had overturned.
“The driver, a 50-year-old Selsey woman had to be freed from the car and was taken to St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester, with minor injuries.
“She failed a breath test and was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
“The driver of the Astra and his passenger suffered slight injuries.
“Deborah Phillips, 50, of Ruskin Close, Selsey, was charged with drink driving and bailed to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on October 30.”
