REVELLERS have enjoyed a music and dance marathon as part of the Festival of Chichester celebrations.

Dozens of artists performed during a ten-hour festival at Chi Fest 2014, held at Chichester College on Saturday.

There were four stages with 30 acts, music sessions and dance performances to delight crowds who were out enjoying the weekend’s sunny weather.

Among the performers were The Watermelons, a band made up of former Chichester College students.

The band is also set to play at Arundel Festival and Victorious Festival later this year.

There was a musical theatre showcase from students who performed extracts from their recent production of Little Shop of Horrors,
a performance by Battle of the Bands finalists Basis, Blind White Shadows and Open House and a mixture of jazz and world music.

The event was rounded off by music staff from Chichester College who played well-known songs for everyone to dance along to.
