A ‘dream come true’ – that’s how this year’s Bognor Rox has been described.
Danny Smith, vocalist for Screamin’ Lez & The MindBenders who took to the stage Sunday, July 27, said: “It’s nice to see such fine artists and great musicians getting support. Getting up on stage and getting that reception really drives you on.”
The weekend of music marked 24 years of Rox rocking the seafront in Bognor Regis which brought the crowds flocking.
Regarded by many to be ‘the most important free admission music and arts festival’ in the country it shows no signs of slowing down with each year described as the ‘best ever’.
The eclectic mix of live music attracted an audience of all tastes and ages.
Portsmouth-based The Fliks were the final headliners on the Arena stage.
On their Facebook page the 1960’s tribute band said: “Amazing crowd, brilliant event, an absolute pleasure closing out the festival tonight to so many happy festival goers..”
