A POLICE investigation into suspected stolen jewellery in Chichester is still underway.
Last year, on April 6, officers executed a search warrant at Ebony Jewellers, in South Street, looking for suspected stolen property.
Most of the stock of the shop was seized and examined in order to establish from where it came.
Pictures of items were posted online and police said they were still looking to trace some items seized in the raid.
Detective sergeant Jason Vickers said: “This has been a significant and extensive enquiry which resulted in a large quantity of items being seized.
“This investigation is still ongoing as we look into the origin of many of the items.
“We have received a large volume of information from the public linked to this enquiry and I would like to thank everyone who has been in contact”.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
