Flood warnings issued after storm hits

Flood warnings have been issued across the Observer area, after high winds and heavy rains hit.

The Environment Agency has issued warnings for:

Bosham on the Bosham Stream, including the Old Bosham, Shore Road and Churchfield Stream, where water levels are expected to rise within the next 24 hours.

West Ashling, Ratham Mill and Broadbridge, where there is standing water.

The River Ems at Emsworth Harbour is on flood alert. The Environment Agency said: “The level at Westbourne is rising rapidly due to debris in the stream and flooding to property is possible.” There is also standing water.

A flood warning has been issued for Westbourne on the River Ems, including the B2147, Commonside and Racton House.

There are no warnings in place for the River Lavant.
