EMSWORTH Park is set to come to life with a free action-packed event.

On June 7, FitBeat will return to the park with sports and games for the whole family to enjoy.

FitBeat is a free outdoor event with activities including sessions with Commonwealth Games gymnastic hopeful,
Harry Owen.

FitBeat was started in 2011 by Emsworth duo Ruth Dancer and George ‘Topsy’ Turner, a former physical training instructor in the Royal Navy who now runs Innovations Fitness.

“We are thrilled to be in our fourth year and this has only been possible due to the fantastic energy of our local clubs and support of the community,” said Ruth.

“We want to show children that whatever their ability, there is a sport out there for everyone, and someone who can help you try it.”
