LAVANT House Junior School pupils welcomed their grandparents into class to share their grandparents’ experience.

Seventeen grandmothers and grandfathers got
back behind a desk to work alongside their grand-daughters.

In the science lab, some more senior class members learnt how to find out the DNA of a strawberry and some wrote poems about their grandparents.

Kate Wade, head of the junior school, said: “We took the grandparents outside to take part in a stick walk where they were asked to find various objects around the school’s grounds which would remind them of their wander.”
