FIVE specialist English teachers spent time at Bourne Community College as part of its international teacher training programme.

The teachers spent several weeks teaching students about Korean culture, geography and language, as well as the rules in their schools.

“As with all our international colleagues, Buna, Kelly, MJ, Crystelle and Jean soon became part of our college and we were very sad to see them leave,” said assistant head teacher Yvonne Watkins.

“Students gained insight into the similarities and differences between South Korea and the UK, including the chores that are expected every day of Korean students in their schools.”
