EXPLORE one of Chichester’s historical buildings on a tour of West Street’s Edes House.
There are a number of 90-minute tours taking place throughout the year, including one this Sunday.
Tour guides will take visitors on a journey through time, as they discover more about life in Sussex and find out how changes in society were reflected in the domestic architecture at the end of the 17th century.
They will also discover more about the history of Edes House itself, which was built in 1696 for local maltster John Edes and his wife Hannah.
Edes House is located along West Street, Chichester – in front of County Hall.
Doors open for Sunday’s tour at 1.30pm. Tickets cost £9.95 and include light refreshments on arrival.
To book, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01243 777265.
