AN Emsworth business is celebrating a quarter of a century of trading by opening a new office tailored especially for clients.

Financial advice specialists Independent Financial Solutions (IFS), part of the Adviser Business Solutions group, marked its 25th anniversary with the opening of a new office in Emsworth’s Old Flour Mill.

Founded in 1989 by David Stamp and now co-owned by Stamp and partners Michael Reidy and Jon Foster, Hampshire-based IFS has achieved considerable success over the last quarter of a century.

Its reputation for excellence, the company says, ‘has been built on expert advice and an ability to build long-term client relationships, at the core of which are trust, mutual understanding and collaboration’.

“As the business continues to grow so has our need for a central location that is convenient for clients. This new office will help us further improve our client communication and help our adviser teams to perform even more efficiently,” said managing director Ben Armstrong.

“We’ve grown significantly over the last 25 years and we expect to see more growth in the years to come. We’ve always been dedicated to taking financial management to the next level and are committed to continuing with this focus.”

Ben added: “We have another office in North Street, Emsworth, and one in Portsmouth. But the newest one in Queen Street is a client facing office, so we spent a long time trying to find the right premises then renovating the space.

“And it all coincides with our 25th year in business.”

The launch saw more than 40 staff members celebrating the anniversary and enjoying a glass of wine as a thank you for their continuing hard work.

The new offices are located on two floors, with ample parking for customers.

“This is a better environment and a big step forward for the company,” said IFS founder David.

With 48 staff in the three offices, 20 staff members will now be working in the new Emsworth base, located at The Old Flour Mill, Queen Street.
