A WOMAN has denied any wrongdoing after an alleged £900,000 went missing from a firm’s client account.

Emma Coates, 44, of West Street, Selsey, entered a not guilty plea to fraud by abuse of position at CK Solicitors, in Selsey, at Southwark Crown Court on Thursday (August 7).

The plea was entered after Coates was charged by Sussex Police in April.

A provisional trial date has been set for September, 2015, expected to last six weeks.

Also charged along with Coates were Simon Kenny, 57, of Old Hunt Stables, Catsfield, near Battle and Stephen Hiseman, 57, of Morzine, France.

According to Southwark Crown Court, Kenny and Hiseman have not yet entered pleas and are due to reappear next month.
