THE Weald and Downland Open Air Musuem became a sea of red coats and white beards as an army of Santa’s took over yesterday (December 8).
All for a good cause, this year’s Santa Sprint and Stroll saw more than 300 competitors turn up on the day, don their Santa outfits and raise money for a good cause.
Organised by St Wilfrid’s Hospice, anyone is welcome to join in the event, running either the 5k sprint or taking it at their own leisurely pace.
People of all ages and abilities got involved, with families, work colleagues and sports teams burning off the mince pies.
See this week’s Observer (out December 12) for the full feature on the event.
