Pupils get crafty and creative in Yapton

Creative children indulged themselves in week of crafts at a Yapton farm.

Dozens of youngsters aged from eight upwards made a range of items during the latest Hobbs Farm crafts week.

Among their creations were a collage of witches and angels, some gorgeous pottery, a lantern from a flowerpot and cushions adorned with reindeer.

Between 20 and 30 children went along most days to the event at the Bilsham Road site.

One of the organisers, Pat Stancomb, said: "It's been a lovely week. It's always fun with the children who really enjoy themselves in a nice atmosphere."

Further craft weeks will be held between February 16 and 22 next year and from April 13 to 17. Details from Sue Abbott on 01243 583958.
