Raffle prize at Chichester school gets Sylvia rockin'

Money for nothing? Not for octogenarian Sylvia Gleave when she entered a raffle at Chichester High School for Boys.

The 88-year-old was the proud winner of a Fender Stratocaster guitar signed by former Dire Straits guitarist Mark Knopfler.

The guitar was just one of the prizes on offer in a raffle with a difference organised by the Friends of Chichester High School for Boys.

Other prizes included a digital camera, gift vouchers and a signed team photo of FA Cup winners Portsmouth Football Club.

The raffle raised 1,175 to help fund fitness equipment for the school's new sports hall and to promote sports, fitness and health in the school.
