A HOEDOWN in Fishbourne raised more than £2,000 for the pre-school in the village on May 16.
Organiser Jane Uphill, said: “The event was totally sold out with more than 200 people attending.
“We were blessed with a gorgeous sunny evening, a delicious hog roast and first-class live music and dancing from Hoedown Band. Everyone danced their socks off and we made a £1,615 profit which gift-aided equates to more than £2,000 for the Fishbourne Pre-school.
“It was a great evening that brought local people together from Fishbourne, Bosham, Chichester and the surrounding villages for a fun filled night.” She thanked contributors Tesco, University of Chichester, Shoestring Farm, Goodwood Estate, Marco’s, Bosham Inn, Earl of March, Butlins, Waitrose, Co-op, Chucklehead Cider, Smith & Western, Hill-Reed and Glorious Spa.
