Motorists can expect delays on some roads around Chichester today (February 9) as runners take to the streets for Chichester 10k road race.

Organisers have apologised in advance for ‘inevitable traffic delays’ caused by the Chichester Priory 10k Road Race, but said they were likely to be less than an hour.

They have also notified runners that there is surface water on the roads and some large puddles near the verges.

Traffic problems are likely to be centred in the north-east quadrant of the city, especially around Oaklands Way, Northgate roundabout, College Lane, Summersdale Road, Westhampnett roundabout, East Lavant village, the Lavant Road and Broyle Road.
