Selsey flooding - reader comment

I have many happy childhood memories of caravanning at Selsey beside the Mill in the 1950s.

In those days our caravan had real leaded windows and was towed down to the coast each spring and brought home to Windsor in the late summer.

In recent years I have taken my sons to stay in a rented holiday home at the Witterings and always drive over to check out our old caravan site at Selsey and have an ice cream or two!

To see the flooding of recent days makes me sad indeed and I extend my sincere sympathies to all in the area who have suffered loss. I trust that all will be back to normal by August when we shall be back at our favourite holiday haunt once more.

GREAT PICTURES, but it's a shame that there are no close up pictures of the caravans to the left of the Embassy club (as you're looking at the club). I own (well if there's anything left of it) the 4th caravan down from the club (right in front of the bin shack). It would be nice to see, as Bunns are not saying anything over the phone about any damage that's been done.
