Sky's the limit for balloons
HUNDREDS of balloons released into the skies in Oxford are being found around Chichester and Bognor Regis.
The 700 balloons were freed as part of a fundraising event in aid of International Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Day (FAS).
One balloon was released for each baby potentially born in the UK last year with FAS.
The first balloon was found by a man out walking his dog in Chichester.
Julia Brown, from the FASD Trust, said: “The balloons seem to have left Oxfordshire and headed south to West Sussex. We have had another batch of tags returned from Chichester, and from the beach at Bognor Regis.”
Prizes are being awarded for both the finders and the senders of balloons which have travelled furthest.
Keep your eyes peeled and if you find a balloon follow the instructions on the tag attached.
