UPDATE: Two ‘seriously injured’ in A286 Chichester crash

TWO people were seriously injured in a two-car crash on the A286 near Chichester yesterday (January 8).

Police were called at 4.40pm after a silver Vauxhall Astra and a silver Citreon Berlingo collided head on.

The 20-year-old male driver of the Vauxhall from Chichester had serious injuries and the 63-year-old woman driver of the Citreon also suffered serious injuries. Both were taken to St Richard’s Hospital.

The crash was on the A286 Birdham Road between Pump Bottom Farm - the venue for Blues on the Farm - and Crouchers Hotel and Restaurant.
