A CEMENT-MIXING lorry that toppled over today (May 12) has leaked cement into a nearby ditch.
Police said they were called at 11.15am. No one was trapped in the 26-tonne vehicle, which tipped over as it was entering a building site off the B2166 Lagness Road.
Fifteen affordable homes are being built on the site as part of a joint initiative between Hyde Martlet, Chichester District Council and the Homes and Communities Agency.
THE HGVwas removed this afternoon, but while it was on its side cement had leaked into the ditch and set.
The lorry fell into the verge as it was turning left into the site.
The 15 homes are being constructed by Fareham-based builders Austins.
