FAMILIES have gathered in Priory Park to take part in an Easter Trail.
The event was organised by charity Children on the Edge, a charity which provides education and assistance for children in areas of poverty.
The day included a barbeque, vintage tea stall, face painting and plenty of games including an assault course and egg rolling.
Sophie Giles, a volunteer for the charity was helping children navigate the assault course.
“We have had a few incidents of eggs breaking so it can be quite messy, but it’s fun,” she said.
There was also a bouncy castle for children, and the opportunity to collect Easter eggs after completing activities around the park.
