ARTS, crafts and traditional countryside activities will be on offer every Wednesday at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum.

The summer holiday activities available at the historical museum include making a tudor bath bomb, helping with Victorian and Tudor laundry, trying out a Victorian school lesson, learning about domestic medieval life and watching the working donkeys.

Children can also have a go at badge-making, brass-rubbing and candle-making and lend a hand to the blacksmith.

The water mill will be running and there will be shire horses, cattle and the traditional farm breed animals including sheep, pigs, chicken and geese.

The Wonderful Wednesday events take place on the August 6, 13, 20 and 27.

Activities will run from 11am-4pm and children must be accompanied by adults. Wet weather will not affect
the events.
